![]() I like the idea of reflecting the model into the ground - like its a wet day. Put the clouds reflecting in the glass a little or better yet - if you have any context photos - drop them in really faint as if they are reflected in the glass. Try to abstract the sky too with just a simple gradient - and maybe a cloud layer - but really faint. Silouetted people - definitely - Put some inside the model too. Also give your ground surface a small reflection factor, like 15%. Ryan you may also try putting a slight yellow tint for the sun. It looks like your design intent is to angle the wall and the mullions but from Ryans original image it does not appear this is what he wants. I believe you are stretching the truth as to what the building is. I like everything you did Craig except exagerating the perspective. Hope I didn't give you too much useless information. I did some quick photoshop work to show how you can put a little constructivist "emotion" in the image. Try a google search to see some of their presentations and posters. This reminds of some Russian constructivism images. It will add a little to the rendering time but should be worth it. Try a single distant light with accurate/atmospheric lighting and HARD/RAYTRACED, TRANSPARENT shadows. What kind of light are you using for the exterior. How about throwing in a couple ghosted scale figures on the sidewalks. I played around with the levels a little to increase the contrast, as well. I also like to crop out any unused background to help enforce this as well. ![]() I've always been a fan of tilting the camera to exaggerate the perspective. I suppose I'm just curious if anything looks like it could be improved without much difficulty. Ya, I guess that was a bit vague.I really am trying to express the exterior, I'm not looking to be photorealistic or have a specific background. What is it that you wish to add to your image, or what are you trying to show? Do you want to emphasize the interior, exterior, or both? Do you want to make the image a little brighter, add context or a background, or use more realistic textures on your surfaces? In addition to changing the Raytrace Options to eliminate the circle, it's hard to give a crit without knowing your intentions. This will add some render time, so you might want to reset this for views in which this does not (tech) The lower you set it, the fainter this circle will be, and if you set it to 1, the circle should disappear. "Go to the Raytrace Options (Options button from the upper right corner of the RenderZone Options) and set the Minimum Ray Contribution to a lower number. What is going on with the lighting toward the left side of the structure, there is some sort of circle happening.Īlso, ANY advice on how to step up the level of this model a bit in terms of ligthing, or view, or anything!! ![]() Option-M (Mac)/ ALT-M (Windows) is a good combination for accessing the render options. As is usually the case, I am look ing or a little last minute help.
